New Year, New You

The New Year is upon us and now is the time when most of us make our resolutions.

Do you want to be healthier? Up your fitness routine? Eliminate stress? Quit smoking? Have a more positive outlook?

They're all admirable goals, but let's be honest, it is HARD to set the foundation to achieve our resolutions. In the beginning of the year, we're excited about our new goal and the steps we plan to take to achieve it, but a month or two into it and that excitement has all but disappeared.

So then what? How do you get from where you are to where you want to be?

Acupuncture can help you get on track and stay on track!

Acupuncture can help balance your weight by regulating hormone production, improving the metabolism, optimizing digestion, reducing inflammation, suppressing appetite, and decreasing fluid retention. Helping you to gain or lose weight to improve your health.

Acupuncture can help get your body in balance so that when you hit the gym, bike or trail, you feel good about it. You have energy, your muscles don't ache and you feel strong!

National Acupuncture Detoxification Association or NADA has a protocol to help you quit smoking for good. It is an auricular treatment which means the points are done in your ears. I like to pair this with a few points on the body to help the lungs detoxify.

Eliminating stress and having a more positive outlook can go hand in hand. Acupuncture can help you to regulate Serotonin, your feel good hormone. This leads to a decrease in stress levels, feeling good and having more energy!

As an added bonus you also gain a practitioner who can help hold you accountable to your goals, judgement free! Whatever your new year's resolution is, Acupuncture can help you to make the most of it.
